Job summary

Aria of Waukesha is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to our residents and supervise CNAs. You will coordinate all aspects of a resident’s care with other disciplines and ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations governing the facility.

The role includes medication administration, documentation, admissions/discharges, and ongoing care planning, with opportunities for continuing education and professional growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have current and active license to practice as an RN in Wisconsin.
• Coordinate all aspects of resident care with other disciplines in the facility.
• Comply with Federal and State regulations governing the facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medication as ordered by the physician.
• Review medication orders for completeness of information and accuracy.
• Transcribe physician orders.
• Document resident information and notify physician and family as needed.
• Assist in the Admission/Discharge process.
• Complete accident/incident reports and follow up investigations.
• Participate in care conferences and update care plans as needed.
• Maintain good working rapport with all disciplines to meet resident needs.
• Interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Participate in continuing education programs.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview:

The primary purpose of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to provide quality nursing care to our residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing functions performed by the Certified Nursing Assistants. The Registered Nurse (RN) is also responsible to coordinate all aspects of a resident’s care with other disciplines in the facility. Job duties are in accordance with the current Federal and State regulations that govern the facility.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Duties:
