Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver pediatric home health care in Jacksonville, FL. This role focuses on one-on-one patient care in the home, allowing you to exercise clinical judgment with autonomy and continuity of care.

You will work with children with high acuity needs, building lasting relationships with families while receiving comprehensive support from a clinical team, training, and 24/7 on-call assistance.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required (in-person).
• G-tube, trach, vent experience or willingness to train.
• TB test (PPD) or TB blood test.
• Alzheimer’s training - 2 hour DOEA approved course provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated, one-on-one pediatric home health nursing.
• Apply clinical judgment to high-acuity cases.
• Build and maintain relationships with patient and family.
• Deliver skilled nursing in a calm, controlled home setting with clinical support.

Requirements

• Current, active Florida RN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train

• Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
