• Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

Responsibilities

This RN Residency Program is based in our PCU/Intermmediate Care Step-Down unit.

• Residents will complete 2-3weeks of classroom trainingwith the Nursing Educator followed by 10+ weeks of preceptor-led clinical training.
• This is a full-time position with varied shifts during the program. Upon graduation, residents will transition to a full-time night shift RN role in their home unit.

The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry will be responsible for providing nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting

• Must have current BLS certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

Pay Range Minimum: $38.95/Hr.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
