Job summary

AdventHealth in Tarpon Springs, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. You will administer medications as prescribed, monitor responses, and adjust care as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills, with proficiency in EMR systems and patient education. Florida RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• RN license or eligibility to practice in Florida.
• Experience with EMR systems (Cerner/EPIC) preferred.

Job Description:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.

• Previous experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record [Preferred]
• Previous EKG Interpretation Class [Preferred]
• EPIC [Preferred]

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

Work Experience:

1+ years experience in specialty area(s)
