In this role, you will provide personalized face-to-face training to Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers on obtaining a finger stick blood sample, operating the PT/INR products, and reporting responsibilities. The position of trainer is per-diem and location-specific.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remotely set up training appointments directly with the customer/caregiver
• Travel to the customer's home within the general geographic area of the trainer's residence
• Demonstrate and instruct the customer and/or caregiver on the proper use and care of PT/INR equipment
• Explain test reporting options
• Communicate professionally and present yourself appropriately
• Accurately document and submit patient training records electronically
• Maintain communication with Acelis Connected Health via cell phone, email, and internet access
• Use secure encrypted email for communications involving customer PHI
• Have reliable transportation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:

• Current Registered Nurse with clinical experience
• Experience or exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred
• Health education training experience is a plus
• No lifting over 15 pounds without assistance

COMPETENCIES/EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of educational prerequisites
• Proof of health screening documentation
• Training provided by Acelis Connected Health (web-based and interactive)
• Successful background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Proficiency with computers and smart devices
• Basic troubleshooting skills for websites and applications on smart devices
• Travel requirement: minimum of 100 miles roundtrip
• Florida trainers: additional background check step required

The base pay for this position is $22.15 – $44.35 per hour. Pay ranges may vary by location.
