• Provide personalized face-to-face training to Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers on obtaining a finger stick blood sample, operating the PT/INR products, and reporting responsibilities.
• This position of trainer is per-diem and location-specific (state/city).

This job description will be reviewed periodically and is subject to change by management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remotely set up training appointments directly with customers/caregivers.
• Travel to customers' home settings within the general geographic area of the Trainer's residence.
• Demonstrate and instruct customers and/or their caregivers on the proper use and care of PT/INR equipment.
• Explain test reporting options.
• Present yourself professionally.
• Accurately document and submit patient training records electronically.
• Maintain communication with Acelis Connected Health via cell phone, email, and internet.
• Use secure encrypted email to communicate any information involving customers' PHI.
• Have reliable transportation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:

• Current Registered Nurse with clinical experience.
• Experience or exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred.
• Health education training experience is a plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds without assistance.

COMPETENCIES/EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of required educational prerequisites.
• Proof of health screening documentation.
• Web-based and interactive training provided by Acelis Connected Health.
• Successful completion of background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Proficiency with computers and smart devices.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for websites and applications on smart devices.
• Travel of at least 100 miles roundtrip required.
• Reside within 20-25 miles of the hiring location.
• For Florida trainers: additional background check steps are required.

The base pay for this position ranges from $22.15 to $44.35 per hour. Pay may vary based on location.
