In this role, you will provide personalized face-to-face training to Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers on obtaining a finger stick blood sample, operating the PT/INR products, and reporting responsibilities. The position of trainer is per-diem and specific to a state and city.

This job description will be reviewed periodically and is subject to change by management.

Responsibilities:

1. Remotely set up training appointments directly with the customer/caregiver.
2. Travel to the customer's home setting within the general geographic location of the Trainer's home.
3. Demonstrate and instruct the customer and/or their caregiver on the proper use and care of the PT/INR equipment.
4. Explain test reporting options.
5. Communicate and present yourself in a professional manner.
6. Accurately document and submit patient training records electronically.
7. Maintain communication with Acelis Connected Health via cell phone, email, and internet access.
8. Use secure encrypted email to communicate any information that includes customers' PHI.
9. Have reliable transportation.

Basic Qualifications | Education:

1. The Trainer must have clinical experience and be a current Registered Nurse.
2. Direct experience/exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred.
3. Health education training experience is a definite plus.
4. No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Competencies/Employment Requirements

1. Completion of assigned educational prerequisites.
2. Proof of health screening documentation.
3. Web-based and interactive training provided by Acelis Connected Health.
4. Successful completion of a consumer report (background check) and pre-employment drug screening.
5. Proficiency in computer and smart device use.
6. Ability to troubleshoot basic website and application issues using smart devices.
7. Travel of at least 100 miles roundtrip required.
8. Live within 20-25 miles of the hiring location.
9. Florida trainers only: additional background check step required for Florida.

The base pay for this position is $22.15 – $44.35 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
