Position Overview

We are seeking a per-diem Trainer to provide personalized face-to-face training to Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers. The trainer will instruct customers and caregivers on obtaining finger stick blood samples, operating PT/INR products, and reporting responsibilities. This position is specific to state/city locations and involves travel within the trainer's general geographic area.

Responsibilities

1. Schedule and conduct remote training appointments with customers/caregivers.
2. Travel to customers' homes within the designated geographic area.
3. Demonstrate the proper use and care of PT/INR equipment.
4. Explain test reporting options clearly.
5. Present oneself professionally.
6. Document and submit training records electronically.
7. Maintain communication via cell phone, email, and internet.
8. Use secure encrypted email for customer PHI communication.
9. Ensure reliable transportation.

Basic Qualifications and Education

• Current Registered Nurse with clinical experience.
• Experience or exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare preferred.
• Health education training experience is a plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds without assistance.

Additional Requirements

• Complete educational prerequisites.
• Provide health screening documentation.
• Complete web-based and interactive training provided by Acelis Connected Health.
• Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Proficiency with computers and smart devices.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for websites and applications.
• Travel at least 100 miles roundtrip.
• Florida trainers require an additional background check step.

Compensation

The hourly pay ranges from $22.15 to $44.35, varying by location.
