Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio is required.

• ACLS required within 6 months in step-down/ICU areas.
• Certification in area of clinical specialty expected within five years.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates nursing skills to complete holistic assessment of patient needs.
• Communicates plan of care with SBAR during handoffs.
• Participates in discharge planning and referrals.
• Performs nursing actions with appropriate delegation and critical thinking.
• Educates patient and family based on plan of care.
• Responds to emergencies with controlled, precise actions.
