Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nursing Program (required)
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license (required)
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC/Canadian equivalent (required before start)
• ACLS required by end of unit orientation for multiple units
• NRP certification required by end of unit orientation for FBC (neonatal)

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
