Job summary

McLaren Health Care, headquartered in Grand Blanc, Michigan, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process. You will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and coordinate interventions while maintaining patient/family-centered care.

Schedule features 12-hour shifts (7:00pm-7:30am) and no on-call requirements. Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, Michigan RN license, and BLS; Bachelor’s in Nursing is preferred and ACLS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
