Valley Baptist Health System in Harlingen, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical patient care per shift. You will assess, plan, implement and coordinate nursing care, supervise staff, and support the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe patient care.

Required nursing license. Preferred acute care experience and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP per policy. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed, registered or certified to practice in the state.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications per policy may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe, total nursing care.
• Coordinate patient care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Supervise staff and delegate appropriately.
• Foster safety, quality improvement and infection control standards.
• Respond to emergencies and follow hospital codes as needed.
