Job summary

Huntsville Hospital in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess patient needs, determine priorities for care, plan and delegate accordingly, and evaluate responses to treatment throughout the shift.

You will be accountable for patient outcomes, require Alabama or multi-state licensure, and hold BLS before orientation with ACLS within one year of hire. New graduates are welcome; experienced RNs preferred in certain units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.
• Experience preferred; new graduates accepted.
• BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period. ACLS within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment.
• Plan and delegate care based on patient needs.
• Evaluate the patient's response to care and progress toward expected outcomes.
• Accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
