Job summary

Atlantic Health in Pompton Lakes, NJ seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support treatment plans. Responsibilities include administering medications, recording health data, and monitoring patient conditions in a dynamic clinical environment.

The ideal candidate will hold RN licensure, a graduate nursing program credential, and BLS certification, with preferred BSN or higher and ACLS depending on role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred (BSN) and ASN must complete BSN within five years of start date.
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of nursing experience preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
