Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care within the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality, coordinate care with other departments, and uphold professional accountability for assigned patients.

Requirements include graduation from a nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN) and an active RN license in Illinois or compact license. BLS and/or other unit certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in Illinois or compact license; maintain licensure per state requirements.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• May require additional unit-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using Mercy's nursing framework and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
