Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, while ensuring accountability and patient rights. You will evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with other departments to optimize outcomes.

Candidates must hold an active RN license in MO or a compact state and have completed or be willing to complete a nursing degree (AD, Diploma, or BSN) with BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in MO or a compact state and current license validity.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or plan to complete within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and preserves patient rights and confidentiality.
