Job Description

Responsible for collaborating with healthcare professionals to treat patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Tasks include monitoring patients, administering medications, maintaining records, consulting with healthcare providers, educating patients, and more.

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Maintain accurate and complete healthcare records and reports.
  2. Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and reactions.
  3. Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments.
  4. Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
  5. Assess, implement, plan, or evaluate patient nursing care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  6. Record patient vital signs and medical information.
  7. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS certification.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (all ASN must complete their BSN within five years of start date).
  • Master's degree in nursing or related field.
  • At least 1 year of nursing or relevant experience.
  • ACLS certification.
