Job summary

The Emily Program in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Part-Time Registered Nurse for Day/Evening shifts (0.4 FTE, 16 hours/week). This role supports adults with eating disorders in a residential setting, with every other weekend required.

Starting pay ranges from $37.00 to $40.00 per hour, with final compensation based on qualifications. Responsibilities include holistic nursing, medication management, coordination with medical/psychiatric providers, and meticulous documentation in the client medical

Qualifications

  • Licensed RN in Minnesota.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required within 30 days from date of hire.
  • Experience or strong desire to work in a mental health setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provides client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns.
  • Responsible for medication management including education, adherence assessment, administration in residential setting, and monitoring for side effects in collaboration with provider.
  • Assists and coordinates medical and psychiatric care with providers.
  • Recognizes and responds to medical and psychiatric emergencies.
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation in the client medical record.

Position Overview


Nurses provide holistic and compassionate nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team to clients in a residential setting with a focus on treating Adult clients with eating disorders.


Schedule



  • This is a Part Time position at 0.4 FTE (16 hours/week) Day/Evening, every other weekend.

  • Days: 6a-2:30p, 8a-4:30p

  • Evenings: 2-10:30p, 4p-12:30a

  • A combination of both day and evening shifts are scheduled. Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) required.


Compensation Disclosure



  • Registered Nurses: Starting hourly range between $37.00- $40.00


Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position


How Nurses Empower Recovery



  • Provides client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns appropriately

  • Responsible with medication management including education, assessing adherence, administration in the residential setting, and monitoring for side effects in collaboration with provider

  • Assists and supports medical and psychiatric providers with medical care coordination

  • Recognizes and appropriately responds to medical and psychiatric to emergencies

  • Responsible for accurate and timely documentation in the client medical record


Qualifications



  • Licensed as an RN in Minnesota

  • Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive

  • Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire

  • Experience or strong desire to work in a mental health setting
