Job summary

AccentCare in Broward County is seeking a PRN Palliative Care Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care under the interdisciplinary plan of care.

You will work under the Palliative Care Director and Program Medical Director, travel to community-based settings as needed, and contribute to a patient-centered experience with strong emphasis on comfort and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; RN license in practicing state.
• CPR certification required; valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to maximize comfort per interdisciplinary plan.
• Travel to multiple AccentCare locations as needed.

Works under the direction of Palliative Care Director and Program Medical Director, provides nursing care to maximize the comfort and health of patients and families in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care. May include care for community-based Palliative and Hospice appropriate patients in the continuum of care.

If you meet these qualifications, we want to meet you!

• Previous experience in hospice, home health, general medical surgical or patient population specific (i.e.: geriatrics,
  pediatric, etc.) nursing.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• Associates degree, preferred
• Registered Nurse license required in state(s) practicing
• Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order. Ability to travel to all business locations.
