Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a registered nurse to provide primary nursing support to physicians and patients, assisting in diagnosis and treatment while educating patients to promote adherence to care plans.

In this clinic-based role, you will lead daily operations, triage calls, document histories and vitals, and prepare patients for exams, ensuring safety and quality care in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a specialty nursing program and have RN experience preferred.
• Proven ability to educate patients and staff on care plans and procedures.

Job description

Provides primary nursing support to physicians and patients, assisting in diagnosis and treatment, and delivering patient education to promote understanding and compliance with care plans.
Acts as clinic lead, overseeing workflow, staffing, and day-to-day operations.
Triages patient calls, documents medical histories, vital signs, and prepares patients for exams.
Supports providers during invasive procedures, collects lab specimens, and ensures accurate documentation.
Administers medications, including IV push and topical treatments, and manages specialized infusions with required competencies.
Monitors and maintains diagnostic equipment, ensuring aseptic techniques and proper setup of procedure rooms.
Educates staff and patients, serves as a preceptor for new nurses, and ensures safety protocols are followed.
Requires graduation from a specialty nursing program and at least one year of RN experience preferred.
