Job summary

MEP Health in Birmingham, AL is seeking a perioperative nurse to provide direct nursing care to anesthetized patients in the post-operative period within the Surgical Services/PACU/Recovery department.

Responsibilities include aseptic sterile techniques per AORN/ASPAN standards, evaluating patient responses to treatments, managing pain, and anticipating case-specific needs based on procedures and pathophysiology.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Alabama and required certifications.
• BLS certification within one month.
• ACLS certification within six months.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
