Job summary

Athens Orthopedic Clinic Ambulatory Surgery Center in Loganville is seeking a Registered Nurse to support preoperative and postoperative care in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. You will assist in patient preparation, support anesthesia for blocks, and conduct thorough patient assessments.

The role emphasizes airway and pain management, discharge planning, and close collaboration with the surgical team to ensure safe, quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
• Current licensure as Registered Nurse by the Georgia Board of Nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS required
• PALS certification preferred
• One year PACU or critical Care experience preferred

Job Duties

• 4. Maintenance of airway and pain management of patients
• 5. Discharge planning for patients.

Education/Experience

• 1. Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
• 2. Current licensure as Registered Nurse by the Georgia Board of Nursing
• 3. Current BL and ACLS required
• 4. PALS certification preferred
• 5. One (1) year PACU or critical Care experience preferred
