Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta seeks a Registered Nurse for the ICU who delivers age‑appropriate, culturally sensitive care and ensures safe, high‑quality outcomes. You will coordinate care across settings, educate patients and families, and use the nursing process to plan and evaluate care.

Ideal candidates have an ADN with 2+ years ICU experience; a BSN is strongly preferred, with Georgia RN licensure, and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• 2+ years Critical Care ICU experience required.
• Current Georgia RN license required.
• Current AHA BLS health care provider card required.
• ACLS Certification required for all areas; new grads must obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive nursing care.
• Coordinate care across settings and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families about health practices and treatments.
• Utilize the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
