Job summary

Chesapeake Regional Healthcare in Virginia seeks a Registered Nurse for PACU/critical care. You will provide direct, coordinated patient care across the lifespan in the perioperative setting, planning and evaluating care with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include managing personnel, supplies and equipment in the surgical area and promoting teamwork with physicians and other departments. Must hold Virginia RN license; BSN preferred; 1 year PACU/CCU experience preferred; BLS on hire.

Qualifications

Responsible and accountable for providing and directing individualized care from infant to geriatric patients based on established standards of nursing practice. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through clinical knowledge and skills. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the surgical setting while promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel in other departments.

Education And Experience
