Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time role. The position requires delivering professional nursing care, assessing patient conditions, planning and evaluating care, and coordinating with the care team. The shift covers 9:00 a.m.

to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities. Candidates must possess an Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred within 5 years) and hold an active Illinois RN license, with current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in nursing or higher; BSN required within 5 years from start date.
• Licensure required: Currently licensed as a State of Illinois Registered Nurse.
• CPR (BLS) certification current; ACLS and PALS within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Render professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
• Assess patient condition, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress and document observations.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to staff and collaborate as part of a care team.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• Education:

  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)

• License/Certification:

  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position

  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
