Job summary

UCSF Health seeks an experienced RN for the PACU/ICU continuum, providing safe and therapeutic care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and perform established nursing procedures for complex patients, with supervision as needed.

The role requires critical-care and PACU experience, on-call availability, and knowledge of airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain control. Position may involve assignments across UCSF Medical Center locations.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of recent Critical-Care RN experience within the past five years.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient PACU experience.
• On-Call commitment required.
• Knowledge of airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management.
• Must be able to bend, pull and push up to 20lbs.

• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient PACU experience
• Requires On-Call commitment
• Knowledge of airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management
• Must be able to bend, pull and push up to 20lbs.
• This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPAN or CCRN certification

Licenses/Certifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification
• Current healthcare provider ACLS certification
• Current healthcare provider PALS certification
