Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, Indiana is hiring a Registered Nurse for part-time day shifts (10a–8:30p). Earn up to a $6,500 sign-on bonus.

The RN will implement and document the nursing process, advocate for patients and maintain a safe environment aligned with the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Required: RN license in Indiana, CPR certification within 60 days, 1 year RN experience in ICU/PCU/OR/PACU; ASN to BSN path available through benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: RN Indiana License; CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Experience: At least 1 year RN in ICU, PCU, OR/Procedural or PACU; 1-2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate and document nursing care per standards and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Serve as patient advocate and maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors and colleagues.

About the job:

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements:
