Job summary

Texas Orthopedic Hospital in Houston, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our PACU to deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care and collaborate with the patient care team.

You will apply the nursing process, demonstrate leadership, and ensure patient safety while coordinating with surgeons and recovery staff. BSN preferred and at least one year of PACU experience are expected. This role offers staffing support, ongoing clinical education, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required.
  • BSN is preferred.
  • 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Recovery Room setting is required.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification are required.

  • Care for and manage the surgical patient in the post-anesthesia period.
  • Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism with active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Recovery for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:
