AdventHealth in Florida is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This full-time day-shift role involves direct patient care across age groups and requires strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• 1+ years of RN experience in PACU or critical care.
• Current RN license and CPR/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in direct patient care across geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric populations, assessing and reassessing care plans.
• Demonstrates critical thinking when interpreting post-operative condition changes.
• Communicates patient information to caregivers to ensure effective continuum of care.
• Manages and interprets patient monitoring devices in the PACU environment.
• Provides accurate, timely documentation using the nursing process to deliver competent care.

• Communicates patient information to all appropriate caregivers to ensure effective continuum of care.
• Manages and interprets all patient monitoring devices in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environment competently.
• Provides accurate, timely documentation, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver competent, effective, cost-efficient patient care.
