Role & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a fast-paced PACU environment, supporting patients through perioperative recovery.
• Conduct preoperative evaluations and patient education as part of the Pre-Anesthesia Screening Services (PASS).
• Collaborate effectively with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assess, monitor, and intervene promptly for patients across various surgical specialties and trauma cases.
• Maintain strong communication, critical-thinking, and customer service skills to support patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing.
• 1–3 years of RN experience in PACU, ICU, or ED.
• Current Maryland RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and work effectively within a team in a dynamic setting.
