Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks an experienced nurse to join our team. You will provide leadership in coordinating and delivering compassionate patient care, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, and communicating clearly with patients and the care team.

This role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) and Michigan RN licensure; weekend and holiday rotations are part of the schedule, with a comprehensive benefits package

Job Description

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning,
• implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.

• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
