Job summary

IU Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Indianapolis. The role offers a 40-hour work week, with Monday through Friday 8:00am–4:30pm and some travel to other IU Health facilities.

Ideal candidates hold an ASN, an active RN license in Indiana or an NLC, and have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. BSN preferred; Basic Life Support certification is required, with advanced life support as needed per unit.

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
