Job summary

IU Health in Indianapolis is seeking an RN with at least one year of experience to join a busy primary care practice at 6820 Parkdale Place, Suite 212.

The RN will support triage, refill management, referral coordination, appointment scheduling, and patient education while collaborating with 6 physicians and 3 APPs.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with no weekends or holidays. ASN required; BSN preferred; active Indiana RN license.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions possible with >2 years of relevant clinical experience reviewed by CNO.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit.
• May assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Understanding of legal implications of patient care activities as an RN.

Join a busy primary care practice located at 6820 Parkdale Place, Suite 212, Indianapolis, IN. This onsite RN will work alongside 6 physicians and 3 APPs supporting patient care through triage, medication refill management, referral coordination, appointment scheduling, and patient education. This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population, from pediatric to geriatric patients, within a supportive and collaborative primary care team.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
