Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Exeter Hospital is seeking an experienced OR nurse for the Outpatient Surgery Center. You will deliver preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for same‑day procedures in a fast-paced perioperative setting. A valid NH RN license (or Compact state) is required; BSN preferred.

BCLS/ACLS CNOR certifications are expected within set timelines. Schedule is typically Mon–Fri with standby coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year Operating Room (OR) experience required.
• RN license in NH or another Compact State; BSN preferred.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire.
• CNOR certification required within 18 months of hire or upon eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for same‑day surgical patients.
• Assist with patient positioning, anesthesia handoff, and perioperative safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and support staff to maintain efficient OR turnover.

Job Description:$5,000 Sign On Bonus!!The Outpatient Surgery Center (OSC), located within the Outpatient Care Center (OCC), includes four operating rooms and an admission/recovery unit. Nurses provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients undergoing same-day surgical procedures in a fast-paced, perioperative setting.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of Operating Room (OR) experience required
• Current RN license in New Hampshire or another Compact State; BSN preferred
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire
• CNOR certification required within 18 months of hire or when eligibility requirements are met

Schedule is as follows: 645-1515 Monday through Friday. Late standby 1515-end of cases 1-2 x per week.

Pay Range: $35.00 - $63.15The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
