Job summary

Starling Oncology is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our care team.<\/p>

You will provide compassionate, state-of-the-art nursing care to communities we serve, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no nights or weekends. We offer a full benefits package, holiday pay, career advancement, and education support to help you grow.

Key duties include directing patient care during shifts, administering IV therapy and chemotherapy as prescribed, and coordinating with physicians and staff across clinics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Two or more years of RN experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The overall direction and supervision of all patient care during your shift.
• Ability to work independently.
• Mix immunotherapy, chemotherapy as prescribed.
• Administer IV therapy as prescribed by MD.
• Satisfies established nursing standards of practice.
• Lead and coordinate patient care tasks with LPN and other team members.
• Promote teamwork with physicians and other departments.
• Perform adequate patient assessments prior to administration.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Registered Nurse (RN) duties include:

Education and/or Experience:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Two or more years of as a Registered Nurse (RN) is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• A Registered Nurse who is currently licensed to practice, in good standing, by the state of employment.
• Must maintain current BLS certification throughout employment.
• BLS certification is required upon hire.
• ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification required within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS preferred but not required.
• ONC preferred but not required.
