Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City invites an Infusion Registered Nurse to join its Hospital Outpatient Infusion Center. The role supports research, patient and family education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Experience in Oncology or strong IV skills is preferred. Candidates should be organized, team oriented, adaptable, and committed to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• 1 year Basic Life Support required (BLS)
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification preferred
• Registered Nurse with active license (RN) required
• Oncology/Immunotherapy skills and strong IV skills preferred

Job description

Job Description BJC/Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Infusion Registered Nurse in their Hospital Outpatient Infusion Center. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with research studies, provide patient and family education, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to improving patient outcomes. This is a high volume fast-paced Magnet designated clinic. This clinic is COC and QOPI Certified. We will provide assistance to become Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certified within 90 days of your employment and provide vouchers for renewal.

Hours:

• Monday – Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
• This position will require 2-3 weekend shifts a year and 1 Holiday every 2 years.
• May be asked to float to other locations: Overland Park, North, Lees Summit.
