UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is hiring registered nurses for a full-time day-shift position in Illinois. Starting pay is listed at $35.53 per hour with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for eligible applicants.

Advancement through the Clinical Ladder is available based on experience, development, and advancement criteria, with potential salary increases up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year medical-surgical experience required.
• 1+ year surgery experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments per prescribed protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress; adjust plans as needed.
• Document care activities in medical records.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and post-discharge care.
• Advocate for patient safety and prevent infection; maintain sterile environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, etc.).

• Assess patient conditions and needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols.
