JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Registered Nurse - Ortho Medical

RN - ORTHO MED

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Ortho Medical Unit will have the following responsibilities:

1. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
2. Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
3. Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
4. Ensure professional effectiveness through ongoing education and professional development.
5. Participate in the development and maintenance of hospital policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement initiatives, safety, environmental, and infection prevention programs.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse - Ortho Medical

RN - ORTHO MED

Full-Time

Minimum qualifications for Registered Nurse candidates in the Ortho Medical Unit include:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Specialty certification (preferred)
• At least one year of experience in an acute care facility or successful completion of a training course/orientation with standard competencies within six months of hire
• Registered Nurse licensure
• Basic Life Support certification required upon hire

Pay Rate: $47.40 - $74.48/hour
