Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in our Emergency Department. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  1. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, involving patients and families in the process.
  2. Recognize and respond to significant changes in patient conditions, adjusting care plans accordingly.
  3. Implement safety strategies and assess the learning needs of patients and families, promoting education and safety.
  4. Coordinate discharge planning with interdisciplinary teams, applying evidence-based practices and standards of care.
  5. Evaluate patient and team outcomes, supporting process improvements and quality initiatives.
  6. Communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and demonstrate leadership within the care team, delegating appropriately.
  7. Identify safety threats, report incidents, and participate in corrective actions to promote a safety culture.
  8. Apply ethical decision-making, respect peers and disciplines, and contribute to an unbiased, individualized care approach.
  9. Engage in professional development activities, including meetings, training, and competencies.
  10. Provide age-appropriate care, understanding growth and development principles across the lifespan.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid RN license issued by the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Typically, at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
