Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in our Emergency Department. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, involving patients and families in the process.
- Recognize and respond to significant changes in patient conditions, adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Implement safety strategies and assess the learning needs of patients and families, promoting education and safety.
- Coordinate discharge planning with interdisciplinary teams, applying evidence-based practices and standards of care.
- Evaluate patient and team outcomes, supporting process improvements and quality initiatives.
- Communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and demonstrate leadership within the care team, delegating appropriately.
- Identify safety threats, report incidents, and participate in corrective actions to promote a safety culture.
- Apply ethical decision-making, respect peers and disciplines, and contribute to an unbiased, individualized care approach.
- Engage in professional development activities, including meetings, training, and competencies.
- Provide age-appropriate care, understanding growth and development principles across the lifespan.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid RN license issued by the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Typically, at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

- Functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch, with fine motor skills for procedures.
