Endeavor Health's Highland Park Hospital is seeking a Perioperative Registered Nurse for per diem shifts, with potential to float to other Endeavor locations. You will provide direct care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients during the perioperative period and act as a patient advocate.

Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, assisting the surgical team, orienting new staff, and securing supplies and equipment necessary for care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing is required.
• IL RN license and CPR/BLS certification are required.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in OR.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in the perioperative period.
• Act as patient advocate and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with orientation of new staff and educational activities as needed.
• Secure and maintain supplies and equipment necessary for delivery of perioperative care.
