Job summary

Nemours is seeking an experienced perioperative nurse to deliver safe, patient-family centered care in the operating room. This position runs 30 hours over two weeks (1845–0715) and includes weekend, call, and holiday requirements, with a focus on collaboration across Nemours Children’s Health facilities.

The role requires an active RN license (Delaware or compact), BLS, and PALS/ACLS within specified times, with BSN preferred and a path to BSN if starting from an Associate’s degree.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; if you have an Associate's degree you must be willing to obtain a BSN within three years.
• Active Delaware or compact RN license required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS required; PALS within six months; ACLS within one year.
• Must apply for NJ and PA licenses if not already covered by compact license within six months.

The role of the Perioperative RN is to be responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room for all patient populations. This primary position at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware, will include collaboration with the Nemours Children's Health, Surgery Center, Malvern, PA and the Nemours Children's Health, Surgery Center, Deptford, NJ to optimize available resources in achieving optimal patient outcomes .

Requirements:

• BSN Preferred ; if have Associate's degree must be willing to get BSN within three years
