Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Delaware seeks an experienced OR nurse for the Operating Room. The role is 30 hours over two weeks, from 18:45 to 07:15, with weekend, call and holiday requirements.

The Perioperative RN delivers safe, patient- and family-centered care in the operating room for all ages, coordinating with Nemours Children's Health Surgery Center in Malvern, PA and Deptford, NJ to optimize resources and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; if Associate's degree must be willing to get BSN within three years
• Active Delaware or compact RN license required
• American Heart Association BLS required; PALS within six months; ACLS within one year
• Must apply for NJ and PA license if not already obtained or covered by compact license within six months

The role of the Perioperative RN is to be responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room for all patient populations. This primary position at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware, will include collaboration with the Nemours Children's Health, Surgery Center, Malvern, PA and the Nemours Children's Health, Surgery Center, Deptford, NJ to optimize available resources in achieving optimal patient outcomes .

Requirements:
