Job summary

UCSF Health, AG in California seeks an experienced RN to join the operating room team. You will apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate safe patient care within an interdisciplinary nursing group.

Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and assisting with complex surgeries (General, Ortho, Neuro, OHNS, GU, GYN, Breast/Plastics, Endoscopy). A CA RN license and CPR are required; position includes on-call duties and travel to UCSF Health locations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years recent Adult Operating Room (OR) RN clinical experience.
• Proficiency in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
• Proficiency in scrubbing surgical procedures.
• Proficiency in circulating duties; call required.
• Experience in General Surgery, Ortho, Neuro, OHNS, GU, GYN, Breast/Plastics, Endoscopy.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations.
• Excellent verbal and written skills. Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently and under pressure.
• Basic computer skills and general PC knowledge.
