Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The role requires establishing patient relationships, collaborating with physicians and the care team, and implementing an individualized plan of care in alignment with policies and current procedures.

Candidates should have a BSN (preferred) and current RN licensure in the state. One year of OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care in accordance with current policies and procedures, using best evidence to support the patient’s health journey.

What We Offer

Schedule : Full time day shift, 6:45A-7:15P (36 hours), 3 12's within window of M-F,

some call/ weekend call requirements. This will be discussed more in depth during interview.

Prior operating room experience required for this position.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
