Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL seeks a Charge Registered Nurse for Surgery/OR. This full-time role offers a 36-hour week with work hours 6:30a to 7p, Monday–Friday, plus rotating on-call including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualified candidates hold IL RN licensure, BLS/CPR, ACLS and PALS with BSN within 5 years; ACLS/PALS within 90 days of start. Competitive benefits and premium pay available.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Charge Registered Nurse - Surgery/OR
• Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL
• Full Time: 36 hours/week
• Hours: 6:30a to 7p M-F with rotating call which includes nights, weekends and holidays

What you will do:

• Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients' progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position

Preferred:

• Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing
• Previous OR/Surgery experience
• OR Charge exp
