Job summary

McLaren Health Care seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process. The role collaborates with the healthcare team to uphold professional standards and patient/family centered care, and directs activities to support patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, planning and implementing care, taking interventions, evaluating responses, and maintaining quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. On-site full-time position with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.
• Previous Circulatory/OR experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• 1. Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• 2. Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• 3. Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• 4. Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
