• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and assist the surgical team.
• Assist with patient positioning, transportation, and postoperative care.
• Ensure infection control compliance, safety standards, and participate in quality improvement.
• Assist with room turnover and rotating call schedule.

Role Overview:

The Registered Nurse – OR Circulator collaborates with surgical teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout procedures.

• Assist with patient positioning, transportation, and postoperative care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Assist with room turnover and participate in rotating call schedule.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold an active, unrestricted RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and collaboratively with diverse healthcare professionals.
• Attention to detail, patient safety, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous operating room or perioperative nursing experience, knowledge of ambulatory surgery, and professional organization memberships are advantageous.

Work Environment:

Primarily in the operating room, with exposure to healthcare hazards requiring proper safety precautions.
