Job summary

Parkway Surgery Center is hiring a Registered Nurse OR Circulator to provide nursing care during surgery, position and prep patients, and circulate cases in a fast-paced ASC. This role supports a multidisciplinary team and requires strong infection control and patient service standards.

Ideal candidates hold a nursing degree, an unrestricted Nevada RN license, and at least 1 year of OR Circulator experience, with Orthopedic procedure exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current unrestricted RN license to practice in Nevada.
• 1+ year experience as OR Circulator; orthopedic procedures preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certification accredited by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during surgery cases.
• Position and prep the patient, and circulate the case.
• Maintain infection control standards and professional competencies.
• Assist surgical patients through their inpatient stay, providing basic care needs.

Parkway Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary

• The Registered Nurse OR Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
• Responsible for helping our surgical patients through their inpatient stay, providing basic care needs.

Working Hours

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Required Skills

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have a current unrestricted RN license to practice in Nevada.
