Qualifications

• Diplôme actuel en soins infirmiers pratiques enregistrés et bonne réputation.
• Au moins 1 an d'expérience en salle d'opération au cours des 2 dernières années.
• Certification BCLS actuelle et tests de masques N95 requis.

Responsibilities

• Sous la direction de l'infirmière en chef, fournir des soins selon les normes établies.
• Aider à créer un environnement de bien-être optimal pour les patients.
• Travail de 12 heures dans un établissement de soins.

Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) specialized in Operating Room care to join our team working in Southwestern Ontario Area hospitals. We’re ready when you are!

Under the direction of the facility charge nurse, you will provide care according to the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Standards of Practice of Carecor, and the healthcare facility where assigned. You will help foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. Each assignment involves a full 12-hour shift at one facility.

Job Qualifications

Our “exemplary standing” with Accreditation Canada reflects our high standards in hiring and patient care.

• Registered Practical Nurse Diploma
• Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) licensure in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least 1 year of operating room experience within the past two years
• Proof of competency in operating room skills
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
• Proof of immunizations for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (MMRV), tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past year or negative chest x-ray within the past five years
• Certification and recent experience in IV insertion
• Willingness to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
