Qualified candidates hold a California RN license with ACLS and BLS certifications and have at least two years of OR experience. The role emphasizes accuracy, patient safety, and teamwork in a high-credentialed setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Minimum of two years of OR nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up the Operating Room per preference cards.
• Provide anesthesiologist with narcotics and medications.
• Verify NPO status, allergies and dentures.
• Maintain fluid management for scope cases.
• Assist with safe transfer to PAR.
• Perform IV sedation procedures, specimen labeling, and basic endoscopy room tasks.

RNs must exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making skills. They are expected to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the physician. Candidates are expected to demonstrateinitiative in performing responsibilities of thisposition.

Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Settingup the Operating Room according to the preference cards
• Providingthe Anesthesiologist with narcotics and medications

Experience

• Minimum of two years experience preferred

License/Certification

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificate
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certificate
